Ash and Blood is WickedDelight's cyberpunk extraction-action experiment, built around signal theft, collapsing infrastructure, and the violent economy that forms when every system in a city can be bought, breached, or repurposed. The game concept treats missions as short, high-pressure incursions into a failing megacity. Players move through vertical architecture, black-market access points, hostile surveillance, and unstable routes where the objective is never only to get in. The real tension comes from deciding what information is worth carrying out and what damage follows when the city notices.

The current direction favors readable tactical movement, fast capture-friendly encounters, and interface language that feels spectral instead of clean. The player is meant to see the city through layers of corrupted overlays: contracts, heat signatures, intrusion windows, ghosted routes, and evidence of other crews that arrived first or did not leave. Unity, URP, Cinemachine, and custom tooling keep the prototype nimble while the combat, traversal, and mission pacing are tested in short loops that can become vertical-slice footage, social clips, and playable demos.

Ash and Blood also has a fiction track, and the book page gives the story room to breathe beyond the mission format. The game focuses on pressure, movement, and tactical decisions inside the city. The novel explores the people shaped by the same infrastructure collapse, the black-market AI trade, and the personal cost of surviving inside systems that no longer pretend to be neutral. The two pages now link together so search engines, AI crawlers, and human readers can understand Ash and Blood as one cross-media entity. The result is a clearer discovery path: players can follow the prototype, readers can follow the book, and both audiences can see how the world holds together.
